ABOUT US
Both stories began in Poland in the early 1980s. Interestingly, Marcin and Paul were neighbors for most of their lives but only met later in Prague.
Marcin moved to Canada in 1990 as a child. After completing his university education, he expanded his studies and experience in Taiwan and later in Cambridge, UK, before finally settling in Prague, Czech Republic, to start a family and establish the Roots Health Clinic.
Paul also arrived in Canada in 1990 with his mother. After years of schooling and training in martial arts, he traveled to Brazil and Tokyo to perfect his fighting techniques. In 2000, he moved to Prague, where he started his family and opened the Advanced Training Facility to teach the McGill Method.
Coincidentally, their businesses ended up on the same block. The need for each other's expertise led to a collaborative effort serving mutual clients with back pain and other health issues. This collaboration gave rise to the Good Health Society.
Our aim is to share the lessons we've learned and the teachings of our teachers and mentors with you.
To your health!
Paul
Mr. Paul Bielak’s movement experience spans over 30 years in marial arts, fight sport, fitness, strength and conditioning. He has worked and learned abroad in Canada, Japan, Brazil, and Europe, and is currently based in Prague, Czech Republic. In an attempt to find balance and commonality between the areas of rehabilitation, prevention, and peak athletic performance, he found the McGill method most relevant to his work; since it has given him the most appropriate solutions and explanations. Since then, he has been using Dr. Stuart McGill’s protocols as a foundation for the practice of all his disciplines, as well as for fundamental daily "back hygiene" for his clients.
As a Provider of the McGill method, Paul offers Back Mechanic seminars and practical workshops to trainers, laymen, and companies in Central Europe, while travelling to Canada to see Dr. McGill personally for further study.
